A record number of companies participated in IFAT 2008: 2,560
exhibitors from 44 countries had exhibits at the international trade
fair, and 32% of them were from countries other than Germany! Although
the share of international exhibitors was high, it was surpassed by the
percentage of international visitors (33%). A total of 119,476 people
from 170 countries attended IFAT 2008.
