  • How do I apply for IFAT and when is the application deadline?

    On our website, www.ifat.de/application, you can send us your application online. Just click on “Apply now" and log in using your log-in data. You received these log-in data to register for the Exhibitor Shop of IFAT 2016. The user name is the e-mail address of the contact person in your company nominated as the one responsible for organizing your participation; the password was then freely chosen by your company.

    If you are not registered yet or if the contact person has changed, please register now. Following the registration, the system will then guide you through the process step-by-step, you save your entry with “Create” and send the application to us with “Submit”. Once successfully registered, you are sent an automatic confirmation e-mail with a PDF version of your application.

    The closing date for applications is April 30, 2017.

  • When does the placement process begin and when will I receive my placement proposal (hall, stand number)?

    The placement process will begin on May 2, 2017. Placement proposals will be sent out to all exhibitors by e-mail from September 2017.

  • What is included with my application?

    Application covers the actual stand space. It also includes the communication fee (obligatory entry in the list of exhibitors—online and in the catalog), the AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry) fee, the application fee, and the fixed waste disposal fee. In addition, your application also covers the advance payment for services.

  • What is the delivery address for IFAT 2018?

  • What advertising opportunities are there for exhibitors?

    We offer exhibitors a wide range of advertising opportunities to effectively support their appearance at the trade fair before, during, and after the event.

  • Can co-exhibitors exhibit on my stand space? If yes, how do they apply?

    Co-exhibitor application

    Exhibitors can apply to add co-exhibitors to their stand space. Please note: The co-exhibitor application form must be filled in and signed by the main exhibitor. The application fee for co-exhibitors is EUR 535 and includes the mandatory communication fee. This fee is invoiced to the main exhibitor.

    All co-exhibitors have the same benefits as main exhibitors, i.e., they are listed as an independent exhibitor in the trade fair catalog and in the online list of exhibitors.

  • When will I receive the admission invoice?

    Admission invoices are issued from fall 2017. The deadline for payment is January 31, 2018.

  • What additional services can I book?

    Exhibitor services

    As an exhibitor, you have the opportunity to book a wide variety of services: professional stand construction, personalized furnishings, and state-of-the-art technology. Do you need exhibitor passes, advertising materials, or support with your preparations to ensure that your appearance at the trade fair is a success? Detailed information and direct booking options can be found in the Exhibitor Shop.

  • What are vouchers/online vouchers for one-day tickets?

    Vouchers/online vouchers for one-day tickets are free entry vouchers for your clients, which you can order in the Exhibitor Shop. Use vouchers for your professional invitation and contact management as effective incentives to encourage people to visit your stand at the trade fair.

  • What is the advance payment for services?

    The advance payment (EUR 14 per square meter in the hall) refers to all services that you can order for the trade fair online via the exhibitor services in the Exhibitor Shop. This includes, for example, electricity, water, compressed air, and vouchers for client invitations. The fee is invoiced per square meter and is the same for all companies. The services actually ordered by you are offset against this advance payment fee in your final invoice—you either just pay the difference or you receive a credit note.

  • Are there any cancellation fees?

    Cancellation fees will apply if you decide you no longer want your stand space once you have already confirmed the stand offer in writing. The cancellation must be made in writing. If the stand can be rented out to someone else, the cancellation fees will be 25 percent of the participation price. If the stand cannot be rented out to someone else, 100 percent of the participation price will be charged. No cancellation fees will apply in the period between registration and the placement proposal.
