Practical Days (VDMA)
Technology put to the test: biomass shredding and sorting technology.
These practical displays hosted by the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) provided visitors with information on the latest processing technology. Visitors could watch as rough timber, scrap wood, and green waste were shredded in these spectacular live demonstrations. In this process they needed 4000 tonnes for eight live shows with the help of modern state-of-the-art sieve systems or crushers to demonstrate. Visitors could also see the processing of standing timber, waste wood and garden waste, right through to entire roots. Alongside the practical demonstrations, interviews were also conducted with manufacturers who discussed product performance and answered questions about their companies.
