Taking the train to Munich to attend IFAT is convenient, safe and environmentally friendly. You will need around 20 minutes from Munich central sation.

Please note that your IFAT ticket does not entitle you to use any public transport operated by MVV (Munich Transport and Tariff Association) free of charge.

Sustainability is a mission that we can only implement together. We help you make your IFAT visit as environmentally friendly as possible. Our offers can improve your personal ecological balance sheet decisively. Because it‘s only a small step for each individual. But together we are always one step ahead.

  • Compensate the CO2 emission of your journey by an appropriate climate and environmental protection project. Our CO2 calculator will help you.

  • Only take sustainable or environmentally friendly giveaways with you from the fair.
  • Return your general information materials at the exit so that other visitors can reuse them.
  • Refrain from using disposable plastics! With your own drinking cup, you can use the IFAT drinking water dispensers free of charge.
